The green wraps around the collar and cuffs. Meanwhile, pink takes over the iconic Adidas stripes running down the shoulders. It is a bold choice. Some might call it messy.
Then comes the corporate storytelling. Adidas claims the shirt’s fabric texture draws inspiration from the diamonds and pearls of the Spanish crown jewels. It is a stretch. In reality, it is just polyester with a fancy pattern, but fans will undoubtedly line up to drop a hundred Euros on it anyway.
