Covington claims the door to the squared circle is wide open, though he insists his current obsession is the amateur wrestling mat. We have heard this song before. Covington has teased a pro wrestling jump for years. He even did a stint in Impact Wrestling back in 2017, messing around in a storyline with Bobby Lashley. But a direct chat with Levesque? That is actual smoke, not just cheap hype.
He did complain about the travel. The WWE grind is notorious. It is a relentless loop of airports, arena hot dogs, and bruised ribs. But let’s be real. The office doesn’t make crossover stars work the house show loop anymore. If Covington signs, he gets the Logan Paul treatment. Limited dates. Big paydays. Maximum exposure.
Can he talk? Obviously. The man built his entire UFC career on being a cheap-heat heel.
