Bloody Morning in Hayes: Woman Dead, Two Men Hospitalized After West London Stabbing

Politics

Another morning, another body. A 24-year-old woman is dead after a brutal stabbing in Hayes, west London. Cops got the call just before 8:00 AM. They rushed to a property on Uxbridge Road. Paramedics tried, but she died right there on the floor.

It didn’t end with her. Outside, officers stumbled upon a man in his 20s bleeding from stab wounds. He was rushed to the hospital. We are still waiting on his condition.

Then came the chase. Cops spotted a 44-year-old man nearby who fit the suspect’s description. They nabbed him, but not before he apparently tried to escape by leaping out of a window. He is currently under guard in a hospital bed, nursing his injuries.

Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo called it a “shocking incident.” That is one way to put it. He claims there is no wider threat to the public, but neighbors are understandably spooked. Expect to see more high-vis jackets patrolling the area while detectives try to piece this bloody puzzle together.
