Following the conclusion of the 2025 season, the Miami Dolphins opted for a change at the top, parting ways with head coach Mike McDaniel. Stepping into the leadership role is Jeff Hafley, previously the defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers.
While Hafley boasts prior head coaching experience from his tenure with the Boston College Eagles, this represents his inaugural venture leading a professional sports team – a challenge accompanied by its own unique demands.
Subsequent to the NFL draft late last month, the Dolphins commenced their initial organized team activities this week. Although fan attendance was restricted, the team offered an exclusive look by releasing a mic’d up video featuring Hafley during one of these sessions.
This provided an excellent chance for Dolphins supporters to observe their new coach in action on the field and discern his approach to leadership. While the true measure of success won’t be known until Week 1, these fundamental sessions are crucial in laying the groundwork for future achievements.
